Block Island Tile Trivet - Triggering Pleasant Memories

Sighting the North Lighthouse fine on the starboard bow, you know that you have crossed a line. That line is that demarcation point between the mainland and Block Island.
Once you have crossed that imaginary line, you feel the changes in yourself. Your breathing changes. Your attitude changes. You relax a little bit. The bluffs are now in view and Old Harbor is ahead. You are almost there.
You come back from your reverie in your reverie and realize that you are actually sitting down for a meal. Your family and friends are there. You have pulled out and set down the 8" square, cork backed, Rhode Island Made Block Island Chart Tile Trivet. The pictured Block Island chart triggered the memory, and you realize that the feelings are the same.

Trivia: Did you know that just a short distance off Block Island is Rhode Island's three state water border with Connecticut and New York? It is commonly known that Rhode Island shares a border with Connecticut, but the New York border is often forgotten.
