Independence Day 2020 is the most different thing that we have experienced in some time. Even the Bristol, RI Fourth of July Parade, the oldest parade of its kind in the United States, is different this year (see more in this linked article: America's Oldest Fourth of July Celebration).

What has not changed is the symbolism and iconography of the celebration. Made From RI has these representations, which remind us of the ideals that we celebrate on the day. Liberty to speak our minds. Documentation that encourages us to live up to the ideals and course correct to come back to those concepts. Perhaps 2020 being "different" due to a number of factors is giving us a moment to reflect on the concepts of these ideals and where they originated. We know that we are doing so as we teach our children...
