Point Judith Tile Trivet - Charting Adventure
Posted by Keith R Wahl, Made From RI on Apr 12th 2022
Departing from the dock in the Port of Galilee, a course laid to the south. Proceed through the gap and along the western wall of the Point Judith Harbor of Refuge. View to port, to the east, and take a bearing on Point Judith Lighthouse. Feel the swells start to build. You are on your way to Block Island.
There are so many bits of history displayed here. And that is but one reason to display and use the Point Judith Tile Trivet. This 8" square marble tile trivet can take the heat. And like the famous Point Judith Lighthouse, it will protect (your furniture) with a full cork backing.

By the way, did you know about the Battle of Point Judith? On May 5 and 6, 1945, one of the last actions of the Battle of the Atlantic occurred off these shores. Two blimps and American surface combatants sank a Nazi U-boat right here off of Point Judith. Read about it here: Battle of Point Judith
