October 13, 1775 is the recognized birth date of the United States Navy. Being that Made From RI is made up of Navy and Sea Service families (Marines, Coast Guard, Merchant Marine... enlisted, officer, and mavericks who came up through the hawse pipe). Given that the Rhode Island the US Navy's birth are inextricably linked, Made From RI is eminently proud to offer an ornament featuring the US Navy logo that is made here in the State of Rhode Island.
