The Painted Lady Who Came To Stay
Posted by Keith R Wahl, Made From RI on Jul 24th 2021
The Painted Lady is a long distance migratory butterfly. In fact, it is the most widespread butterfly species on the planet. The only places that the Painted Lady are absent are Australia and Antartica!
This particular migrant landed in Rhode Island in the village of Peace Dale. It settled on some daisies and the photo captured before it was on its nomadic way.
We have preserved this event on a marble tile coaster. So now, this migratory Painted Lady can stay for a while. Find the Marble Tile Painted Lady On Daisy Coaster at Made From RI here or at the photo link below: Coasters - Painted Lady On Daisies - Made From RI
