What is the story behind the Made From RI Coasters? 

Well, as you may or may not know, we also take photographs as we travel around Rhode Island (we seem to be in every part of Rhode Island every day). As we offer a number of Rhode Island made Tile products, we decided to partner with the Lincoln, RI company that produces the tile and have them make some marble tile coasters. We now offer these at the price of $14 for a single coaster and $25 for a pair (and we do offer mixing and matching; contact us at info@madefromri.com for more information).

This particular coaster, a view of Castle Hill Lighthouse from the south, has the most interesting story. While at a Christmas season show in Warwick (Small Business Saturday Shop RI - coming up this year on Saturday, November 30 2019) a gentleman saw this particular coaster. Tears came to his eyes as he looked at us and asked how the item came to be. He made his purchase and then told us, "My fishing buddy and I go there every year. He is fighting cancer in Florida, but I am getting this for him to inspire him to get there again."
