Who remembers that old song that went, "Do you know what it means to miss New Orleans?" There's a big fan of Louis Armstrong writing this (that Ocean State - Newport Jazz connection), so it came to mind as we were putting this blog together. 

There is nothing like missing this place, Rhode Island. I know. I left for a while. I kept on picking places to live that reminded me of Rhode Island. Why did I love in Essex, Connecticut? Because Essex reminded me of Wickford. 

So what is it that keeps bringing the Rhode Islander back? And by "Rhode Islander" we don't just mean the native, but also that person who has been kissed by Little Rhody magic. The answer is found in the song, Cats! "And there is something more... I miss the one I care for..."
