Whenever someone mentions dog treats, pets are the first thought. Let's add to that thought with working dogs. They need healthy treats too. 

I have spent a fair part of my life working on boats, in shipyards, and even on farms. I have seen all forms of working dogs. Herding, protecting, and searching. In the modern day, we also have therapy and comfort dogs. 

These working dogs all have something in common with pets. They are eager to please their humans. Their work gives them purpose and it is obvious in their eyes. And they seek reward. A pat on the head, a rub on the flank, and a tasty treat is often what they want as a reward.
